The Gujba Higher Institution Students Association (GHISA) is a student-driven organization established to unite students of Gujba Local Government Area studying in various higher institutions across Nigeria. Our association serves as a platform for academic support, leadership development, mentorship, community service, and meaningful collaboration among students.

We believe that education is the strongest foundation for community development. Through unity, discipline, innovation, and service, GHISA continues to empower students to become responsible leaders capable of making positive contributions to society.

How GHISA Began

The Gujba Higher Institution Students Association (GHISA) was established with a clear vision of bringing together students from Gujba Local Government Area who are studying in different higher institutions across Nigeria.

Recognizing the importance of unity and collaboration, the founders created an organization that would serve as a platform for academic support, mentorship, leadership development, and community engagement.

Since its establishment, GHISA has continued to expand its activities by organizing educational programs, supporting students through community initiatives, promoting peace and unity, and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Association Formation

GHISA was formed to unite students from Gujba studying in different higher institutions and to promote mutual support and cooperation.

Educational Support

The association began organizing educational outreach programs, career guidance, and academic assistance for students within Gujba communities.

Leadership Development

Through democratic leadership and active participation, GHISA empowered students to develop leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Growing Stronger

National Executive Council (NEC)

The National Executive Council provides strategic leadership, coordinates the activities of the Association, and ensures that every programme aligns with the vision and mission of GHISA.

Provides overall leadership for the Association, represents GHISA nationally, supervises executive activities, and promotes unity among members.

Secretary General

Administration & Documentation

Responsible for official correspondence, meeting documentation, record keeping, and effective communication within the Association.

Education Secretary

Academic Development

Coordinates educational programmes, scholarship information, tutorials, academic seminars, and student support initiatives.

Executive Member

Student Affairs

Supports executive decisions, assists in programme implementation, and works closely with members to improve student welfare.
